The Parliamentary Secretariat is headed by a Secretary-General who functions under the guidance of the Speaker and Deputy Speaker. The Secretariat undertakes the responsibility of preparing parliamentary procedures and practices, makes arrangements for recording, transcribing, and dissemination of formal proceedings of the Parliament in print and web-based media. It also has a library that is used for research and reference. The Secretariat has the following sections: Administrative; Editorial, Translation & Publication; and Website & Media.
