
Dharamsala : Speaker of Tibetan Parliament -in-Exile, Ven. Khenpo Sonam Tenphel congratulated the new Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh Shri. Jairam Thakur as the swearing-in ceremony takes place at Ridge Maidan in Shimla.
The Tibetan Parliamentary Speaker expressed his sincere and wholehearted gratitude to the people and the government of India for the unwavering support and assistance throughout the time. Especially, the Government of Himachal Pradesh and its people, who have greatly helped Tibetans to revive its identity, culture and traditions, for Dharamsala is a place that harbour both the residence of His Holiness the Dalai Lama and the Central Tibetan Administration.
”I was deeply honored to learn that you have spare your valuable time to meet with the members of Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile during last winter session and I look forward to having the opportunity to meet you in coming future as well,” said the Speaker of Tibetn Parliament-in-Exile.

Shri Jai Ram is the 13th Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, who won the election with 35519 (56.49%) votes on Dec 18.
