Dharamshala: As part of the program of the 18th Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile, Parliamentarians Juchen Kunchok Chodon and Tsewang Tashi Bhara continued their official visitation program in Bylakuppe Lugsam settlement which began on 17 July 2026.

On the morning of 19 July, the two MPs addressed the general public of Lugsam settlement. Their address covered the noble deeds of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, the critical situation inside Tibet, the international political landscape regarding the Tibetan cause, resolutions passed during the First Session of the 18th Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile, and details of the final message left by the patriotic martyr Rangzen Lobga, who passed away after self-immolating in front of the United Nations Headquarters in New York City on 2 July 2026. Following their addresses, they answered questions and provided clarifications to the public.

On 20 July, they addressed the gathered monastic community of the Sera Jey and Sera Mey inside the main assembly hall of Sera Lachi. After answering questions and addressing inquiries, they paid respects and offered prayers at Sera Jey Khennyen monastery and Sera Mey Thosam Norling monastery respectively.

During the visit, they were warmly received with reception ceremonies led by the Khentsab Rinpoche, along with the treasurers, Geko, chant master, and other officials of the two monasteries.

Later that afternoon, the delegation paid respects at the Tsogyal Shedrup Ling Nunnery and Namdroling Monastery. Inside the shedra (monastic college) assembly hall, presided over by the Khenpo of the shedra, both MPs gave talks and conducted a Q&A session with the monks and nuns.
