Speaker expresses his gratitude to Dr. Bernadette Szél, member of the National Assembly (MP) and Co-President of the Politics Can Be Different, Hungary

D. Bernadette Szél, member of the National Assembly (MP) and Co-President of the LMP (Politics Can Be Different), speaking in the parliament, Hungary.

 

Dharamsala : Speaker of Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile, Ven Khenpo Sonam Tenphel expressed his sincere gratitude to Dr. Bernadett Szél, member of the National Assembly (MP) and co-President of the LMP (Politics Can Be Different), Hungary, for standing up for Tibet’s cause and raising the issue of Tibet in the parliament of Hungary on 27th Nov, especially in the course of Li Keqiang, the Premier of the People’s Republic of China’s visit to Hungary.

He thanked her for her valiant support when she spoke in the parliament with Tibetan flag on her neck and closed her speech with ‘FreeTibet’

“By supporting the Tibet’s cause, you have set an example to the people of world to stand and support a non-violence and truthful cause.

‘As you are well aware of the deteriorating ecology and human right situation in Tibet has growing concern all over the world. The latest self-immolation death of a monk named Tenga has called out for freedom for Tibet on Nov 26th, 2017.’

He appealed the Prime Minister-candidate of LMP ( Politics Can Be Different) and her party for their continued support in resolving the issue of Tibet.

Dr. Bernadett Szél (born 9 March 1977) is a Hungarian economist and politician. She is co-President of the Politics Can Be Different (Lehet Más a Politika; LMP) party, and has been a member of the National Assembly (MP) from the party’s National List since 2012. She will be LMP’s candidate for prime minister in next year’s general election as per report from ATV ( Hungarian private TV channel).
