Speaker and deputy speaker with the Budget Estimate Analysis Committee

Dharamsala: The Budget Estimate Analysis Committee of the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile, appointed by Speaker and Deputy Speaker according to the Parliament norms, meets from 25 Feb, 2019 to examine the consolidated budget proposed by the Finance department of the Central Tibetan Administration for the financial year 2019 – 20.
The committee will review the proposed expenditures on the projects and activities of the various departments of the Central Tibetan Administration and will sanction it after due deliberation during the forthcoming budget session of the Tibetan Parliament.
The committee is composed of Ven Geshe Monlam Tharchin, Chairman; Mrs. Dolma Tsering, Secretary; Mr. Migyur Dorjee, Mrs Youdon Aukartsang and Mr. Karma Gelek.
The committee members seek guidance and advice from Speaker and Deputy Speaker at the Speaker’s chamber. After that the Budget Estimate Committee commenced their work.
The consolidated budget for the financial year 2019-2020, in respect of all the Departments and Offices of the Central Tibetan Administration, was carried out by the Kashag chaired by Sikyong, along with Finance Kalon and concerned staff of budget section of Finance Department.
The Budget Estimate Analysis Committee of the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile will submit revised of consolidated budget proposal by Finance department before the actual Parliament begins on 19 March 2019 to the Tibetan Parliament Secretariat
