Ms. Kunchok Chodon Juchen was elected and served as a member of the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile during the 13^th, 14^th, 15^th, 16^th, and 17^th terms with the support of the monastic and lay communities of Dotoe.

Throughout her service in Parliament, she pledged to faithfully uphold and implement the principles and intentions of legislation enacted under the Charter of the Tibetans in exile, which is founded upon genuine democratic values. In carrying out her duties, she have strived to act without fear, bias, attachment, hostility, favoritism, or concern for personal relationships. She has done her utmost to ensure that all public affairs are conducted free from the influence of individuals and governed solely by the rule of law which has been her principal objective.

In 2008, she served as a member of the organizing committee for the First Special General Meeting of Tibetans. In 2012, she attended the 6^th World Parliamentarians’ Convention on Tibet in Ottawa, Canada. To advocate for the Tibetan cause, she also undertook official visits to Kalmykia, Russia, North America, Australia, and New Delhi, India. She participated actively in various parliamentary committees and carried out her responsibilities diligently and effectively.

In addition, she served as a member of the 2^nd, 3^rd, and 4^th Election Committees of Chushi Gangdrug. In 2017, she assumed the role of Chairperson of the 6^th Committee. From 2019 to 2022, she served as the Vice-Chairperson of the 3rd Dege Association, and from 2022 onward, for a three-year term, she served as the Chairperson of the 4th Dege Association.

At present, she is a member of the 18th Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile from Dotoe province.
