MR CHOEDAK GYATSO was born on 11th February 1988 in Chenza, Amdo, Tibet, and completed his middle school education there. After coming into exile in 2005, he joined TCV Suja to continue his education. During his school time, he excelled in both academic and co-curricular activities. In 2012, he completed his school education from TCV Gopalpur by securing a top position in the school. He completed his higher education of B.A and M.A in political science from Ramjas College, Delhi University, and IGNOU respectively.

He is a former secretary of the Regional Tibetan Youth Congress, Delhi, and has worked as a librarian of the Tibetan Youth Hostel in Delhi. During his college days, he along with his three friends formed a musical group called Potala Roltsok and performed Tibetan cultural dances at numerous Indian colleges in Delhi. Even while studying at the college, he managed to obtain more than 3 lakhs rupees in scholarship for five Dhomey students. In 2018, 60 students led by him participated in the annual meeting of the Global Tibetan People’s Movement for the Middle Way Approach. Following this he was elected as an executive member of the Global Tibetan People’s Movement for the Middle Way Approach. He also sourced funds to organize two conferences on Middle Way Approach and provided workshops on Middle Way Approach to more than 100 Tibetan college students. He was also elected to the Tibetan Local Assembly of Dharamsala in 2019. Currently, he is a member of the 17th Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile from Dhomey province.
