MR CHOEDAK GYATSO SHINGLO was born on February 1st, 1989, in Chenza, Amdo, Tibet. He completed his middle school education there. In 2005, following his exile, he enrolled at TCV Suja, and later continued his education at TCV Gopalpur. In 2014, he secured the top position in the 12th All India Senior School Certificate Examination (AISSCE) at TCV Gopalpur. He earned his B.A. in Political Science from Ramjas College, Delhi University, in 2017, and subsequently pursued his M.A. in Political Science from IGNOU the following year.
In 2016, alongside his college studies, he assumed the responsibilities of Secretary of the Regional Tibetan Youth Congress, Rohini, Delhi, and served as a librarian at the Tibetan Youth Hostel in Delhi. In 2018, he was elected as an executive member at the inaugural conference of the Global Tibetan People’s Movement for the Middle Way Approach, where he dedicated four years to the organization. Additionally, he was elected to the Tibetan Local Assembly of Dharamsala in 2019. Currently, he serves as a member of the 17th Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile representing Dhomey province..
