Ms. Tenzin Choezin was born and raised in Northern Indian town of Dharamshala, the seat of the exile Tibetan government. She completed her education until the 12th standard from TCV school, one of the foremost Tibetan schools in exile.

Choezin did her Bachelors in English literature from Madras Christian College Chennai, Masters in English literature from Jawaharlal Nehru University and is also an alumnus of ‘Global Change Leaders program’ at the St FX University, Coady Institute, Canada.

Tenzin Choezin has over 9 years’ experience in the field of training, counselling and administration. She has worked with the Central Tibetan Administration as the Head Consultant for Tibetan Career Centre and has also served in the non-governmental sector as the project officer of Central Tibetan Women’s Association.

Over 5000 people across schools, vocational institutes and organizations in Tibetan settlements in India and Tibetan community organizations in Europe, Canada and Australia have received her training and counselling.

She is the youngest sitting Tibetan parliamentarian.
