Deputy Speaker and Parliamentarian Mrs. Juchen Kunchok Chodon attends inauguration ceremony of Zabsang Choekhorling Sedra

Chauntra, H.P: 16th Tibetan Parliament-in-exile’s Deputy Speaker Ven. Acharya Yeshi Phuntsok and member of Standing Committee Mrs. Juchen Kunchok Chodon, attended the inauguration ceremony of Zabsang Choekhorling Sedra (Monastic University for Higher Buddhist Studies and Research Center) and Zabsang Choekhorling Maker Space (New Era in A.I. – Artificial Intelligence) at 4pm on Oct 10, Saturday.

Upon their arrival, Deputy Speaker Ven. Acharya Yeshi Phuntsok greeted His Eminence the third Shartul Rinpoche and the event’s Chief Guest Hon’ble Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology, Govt. of India, Sh. S. S. Ahluwali.

During the brief meeting with Sh. S. S. Ahluwalia, Deputy Speaker welcomed him to the Himachal state and expressed his gratitude to him for his support to the cause of Tibet and for always sparing time to the delegation of Tibetan Parliament-in-exile whenever they visited Delhi. Deputy Speaker also solicited Hon’ble Minister on the possibility of calling upon him in the near future during a Tibetan parliamentary delegation visit to the capital, to which he consented positively. The minister further expressed his pleasure over this meeting and the event.

Hon’ble Minister Sh. S. S. Ahluwalia is very well-acquainted with the issues of Tibet and one of a strong supporter towards the cause of Tibet in the Indian parliament.
