DHARAMSHALA: Deputy Speaker Acharya Yeshi Phuntsok met with Hon’ble Shri. Prem Kumar Dhumal, former Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh and the incumbent Leader of Opposition, along with seven BJP members at the ongoing winter session of the Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly, on 20 December 2016.

During the meeting, Deputy Speaker expressed gratitude towards the people and the government of Himachal Pradesh for not only being staunch supporters of the Tibet issue politically but also for rendering immense assistance in hosting His Holiness the Dalai Lama and the Central Tibetan Administration since 1959. He further urged them for continued support on Tibet for years to come.

The Deputy Speaker also offered a souvenir to the dignitaries, on behalf of the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile.
