Dharamsala : Ven. Acharya Yeshi Phuntsok, the Deputy Speaker of 16th Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile congratulated Sh. Harivansh Narayan Singh, the NDA candidate on being elected as the new Deputy Chairman of Rajya Sabha in his congratulatory letter today.

‘Being an intellectual, particularly a well-known about the issue of Tibet-China and its relation with India, you have showered us with guidance and support to cause of Tibet, especially during our interaction last winter session in 2017,’ he wrote.

In the letter, he also extended his heartfelt prayers and wishes for success in all his future endeavors as he assumes the new responsibility.

BJP-led NDA’s candidate Sh.Harivansh Narayan Singh has been elected as new Deputy Chairman of Rajya Sabha on Aug 9. He won the election with 125 votes while Congress BK Hariprasad got 105.
