Dharamshala: Dolma Tsering Teykhang, Deputy Speaker of the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile extended condolences on demise of Shri Kishan Kapoor, former Indian MP and a long-time Tibet supporter who passed away on 1 February 2025.
Deputy Speaker Dolma Tsering Teykhang, in a letter to Smt. Rekha Kapoor – wife of the late MP, wrote, “It is with deep sorrow that we learned the demise of your beloved husband, Honorable Shri. Kishan Kapoor Ji. On behalf of the 17th Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile and Tibetans around the world, I extend our heartfelt condolences to you, your family and his well-wishers during this difficult time.”
“I had the honor of meeting him on several occasions as part of the Tibetan Parliamentary delegation. During those moments, his unwavering support for the just cause of Tibet was commendable. I would also like to take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude to Shri Kishan Ji for his steadfast solidarity with our cause. He will always be remembered for his remarkable service to the nation and its people.”
