Dharamshala:Deputy Speaker of Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile, Acharya Yeshi Phuntsok warmly accorded Former HP MLA, Mr. Parveen Kumar, HP former staffs and Ex-armies, comprising of 20 dignitaries to the Parliamentary Secretariat on 7th December, 2018. Deputy speaker introduced them to the House and expounded on the parliamentary procedures of electing members, evolution of Tibetan democratic system, historical relationships between India & Tibet based on religion, culture, border and environment. He further elaborated on the critical and deteriorating situations inside Tibet. Especially, the accelerating number of self-immolations of all the ages against the brutal and inhumane act of Chinese government for Tibetans inside Tibet. The non-violent act of self-immolating is solely done for the just cause of Tibet. Beside that, he mentioned about the increasing number of supporters for Tibet’s cause in the world today, thereby detailing about the forming of parliamentary groups for Tibet and Tibet support groups.
At the concluding note, Deputy Speaker requested them to analyse and scrutinise the issue and history of Tibet to give their firm support and presented them Tibet related books. The dignitaries, in reciprocal assured their full support for the cause of Tibet.
