Gelug MPs Attend Enthronement of 105th Gaden Tripa, Receive Audience

Dharamshala: On November 29, 2024, the enthronement ceremony of Jetsun Lobsang Dorje Pal Sangpo as the 105th Gaden Tripa was successfully held at Drog Riwo Che Gaden Nampar Gyalway Ling monastery.

During the ceremony at the Drepung Loseling Monastery’s Tsulkhang Khamtsen later that day, two parliamentarians from Gelug school of Tibetan Buddhism, Geshe Lharampa Gowo Lobsang Phende and Geshe Lharampa Atuk Tseten, attended and received an audience with the newly enthroned Gaden Tripa. At 4:30 pm, they offered prayers for his long life, wishing for his continued guidance in benefiting Buddha’s teachings and all sentient beings.

Other Members of Parliament who attended the enthronement included MP Lobpon Thupten Gyaltsen, MP Khenpo Kadak Ngedup Sonam, MP Konchok Yangphel, and MP Choephel Thupten.
