Members of Indian Parliament Guests Visit Ongoing Tibetan Parliamentary Session
DHARAMSHALA: Two eminent guests: Hon’ble Satyavrat Chaturvedi, member of Indian Parliament, Rajya Sabha, and Hon’ble Tamradhwaj Sahu, member of Indian Parliament, Lok Sabha, had a visit to the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile to witness the ongoing Tibetan Parliamentary Session on 23 September, 2016 at 2:50 pm. The guests will also be attending a dinner reception with the Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile, hosted by the Tibetan Parliamentary Secretariat.
Indian Dignitaries Observe Tibetan Parliamentary Proceeding
DHARAMSHALA: A group of three Indian dignitaries including Shri. Shashank Shekhar, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, along with Dr. Pankaj Mittal and Mr. Rakesh Kumar, made a short visit to Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile to observe the ongoing parliamentary session on 23 September 2016 on 2:00 pm.
The guests were invited by the Dept. of Home of the Central Tibetan Administration.
Today is the fourth day of the second session of the 16th Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile. The nine-day session was commenced on 20 September and will be concluding on the 29 September 2016.
