
Dharamshala: As per the program of the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile, a delegation of the Tibetan Parlliamentary delegation consisting of parliamentarians Tenpa Yarphel and Ratsa Sonam Norbu successfully concluded their periodical visit to Tibetan markets in Noida, Uttar Pradesh.
Upon their arrival in Samyeling Tibetan settlement in Delhi, they were warmly received by Settlement Officer Dorjee Tsering, President of Regional Tibetan Freedom Movement, Gyathue (community leader), President and Vice-President of the Regional Tibetan Women’s Association, and President of the Delhi’s Tibetan business owners’ association. This was followed by a closed-door meeting with community leaders, Gyakpon and Chimi, of the Samyeling Tibetan settlement of Delhi on 12th January 2025.
On 13th January, the MPs accompanied by the settlement officer paid inspection visits to 70 shops of Lhasa Tibetan market in Noida (UP) and to 40 shops of Potala Tibetan market in Greater Noida (UP).
