
DHARAMSHALA: Ms Nadya Berrengeym, Vice-President of Moscow-based Tibet House, paid a brief visit to the Tibetan Parliamentary Secretariat on 30 September 2015 at 5:30 pm. She was received by Deputy Speaker Acharya Yeshi Phuntsok.
Ms Berrengeym has translated several books on the Tibet issue published by the Central Tibetan Administration into Russian.
The Deputy Speaker thanked her and Tibet House Moscow for its notable efforts to preserve and disseminate the unique cultural heritage of Tibet and for offering a center for Tibetan and Buddhist studies. He further urged for the continued support and welcomes any assistence required from the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile.
The first Tibet House was founded in New Delhi in 1965 by His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama. Presently there are 13 Tibet Houses across the world.
