Dharamshala: On 22 August 2026, Parliamentarians Tenpa Yarphel and Gyaltsen Choekye Gagya visited Sed Gyued Monastery in Salugara, under the jurisdiction of the Kalimpong Tibetan Settlement Office, as well as Men-Tsee-Khang (Tibetan Medical & Astro. Institute) and Chagpori Medical Institute.

During a public gathering held at the newly constructed Cholsum Tibetan Community Hall in Salugara, the two parliamentarians delivered speeches and comprehensively addressed questions raised by local residents.

With these engagements, the official visit of Parliamentarians Tenpa Yarphel and Gyaltsen Choekye Gagya to the Sikkim and Kalimpong regions of Northeast India was successfully concluded.
