
Dharamshala, 4 September 2026: As part of the programme of the 18th Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile, Parliamentarians Tenzin Choezin and Ngawang Lodoe Drawu began their official visit to Tibetan communities in Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
On 2 September 2026, Parliamentarians Tenzin Choezin and Ngawang Lodoe Drawu arrived at Dekyiling Tibetan Settlement.
A brief meeting was held to discuss the forthcoming visitation programme and schedule.
The official visit began on 3 September with the Parliamentarians addressing a public gathering from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by visits to the Local Tibetan Assembly, Dekyiling Public Health Centre, Tibetan Freedom Movement Sub-committees (BRDL) and Mentsekhang.
In the afternoon, they visited Drigung Monastery and sought the blessings of Khenchen Rangdrol Rinpoche. They then visited Ngoenga Tibetan School for Children with Special Needs, Tongtsen Futsal Ground operated by the Tibetan National Sports Association (TNSA), and Songtsen Library.
