Dharamsala: Sh. Ras Bihari, Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) central co-organisation Joint Secretary and its office-bearers from Palampur, Kangra and Dharamsala region visited the Tibetan Parliamentary Secretariat in the evening of Oct 12.
Deputy Speaker Ven. Acharya Yeshi Phuntsok received the dignitaries in his cabin and expressed his pleasure upon their visit, who has visited the Tibetan parliament to comprehend more issues concerning Tibet after the completion of their recent program in the locality.
During the meeting, Deputy Speaker lauded the late Sh. Ashok Singhal, who was the international working president of the organization for over 20 years, for his support to the cause of Tibet and mentioned the innumerous time, he had an audience with His Holiness the Dalai Lama. He also elucidated the dignitaries on the urgent situation inside Tibet and the conditions of Tibetans living in exile.
He further solicited the organization to continue to render the same support as rendered in the past and to introduce discussion over Tibet during their meetings. Sh. Ram Bihari, in turn, responded with the affirmation of his support to the cause of Tibet and possibly to invite the Deputy Speaker during one of their meetings.
Thereafter, they were taken to a guided tour to the hall of Tibetan Parliamentary Secretariat.
