Bylakuppe: A Long-Life Prayer to the 105th Gaden Tripa, Jetsun Lobsang Dorjee Pal Sangpo, was held on 3rd March 2025. The prayer was offered by the people of Markham at the Sera Mey Thoesam Norling Monastery in Bylakuppe.

The auspicious ceremony was graced by Kyabje Sharpa Choeje Rinpoche; Khenpo Sonam Tenphel, Speaker of the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile; Sikyong Penpa Tsering of the Central Tibetan Administration; along with former Kalons (Ministers); Khenpo and Khensur (current and former Abbots); Dangmo Kalden of Sakya; incumbent and former parliamentarians of the TPiE; Jigme Tsultrim, South Zone Chief Representative; TSO Gelek Jungney of Lugsam; and TSO Chemi Dorjee of Dekyi Larso, among many members of the general public.

In the afternoon, the Speaker visited a Dungchoe (prayer gathering) held at Drekung Kagyu monastery for the late Ayang Tulku Rinpoche, former parliamentarian of the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile, to offer his condolences.
