Dharamshala, January 9th 2025: Khenpo Sonam Tenphel, on behalf of the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile, representing Tibetans both within Tibet and the global diaspora, extended his heartfelt congratulations to Mike Johnson, Speaker of the US House of Representatives on his resounding victory and his subsequent oath of office as Speaker of the House of Representatives.

Through its unwavering support, the United States has demonstrated its commitment to the promotion of democracy, human rights, and the fundamental dignity of all peoples.
