Dharamshal, 30th October 2024: Khenpo Sonam Tenphel, Speaker of the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile, is scheduled to visit Bomdila in Arunachal Pradesh from November 1 to 6, 2024, and Tumlang in North Sikkim from November 9 to 12, 2024.
In Bomdila, the Speaker will attend the consecration and inaugural ceremony of the newly constructed assembly hall at Thubchog Gatsel Ling Monastery on November 4, 2024.
In Tumlang, the Speaker will join the celebration of the newly constructed Ogyen Mindrolling temple, Palri Pema öd Kyi Phodrang, with Ghanchakra on November 10 and main event, featuring the Tshe-Chun Cham, on November 11.
The Speaker will depart from Dharamshala to Delhi on November 1, then travel to Guwahati the following day before heading to Bomdila. After the ceremony on November 4, he will return to Delhi on November 6 and have official engagements on the following two days. On November 9, the Speaker will leave for Sikkim, attend the ceremony on November 10 and 11, and return on November 12.
