Dharamsala: Speaker Ven. Khenpo Sonam Tenphel is set to visit Switzerland to attend the 57th Tibetan Democracy Day as ‘the chief guest’ as per the invitation extended by the Tibetan Community of Switzerland and Liechtenstein from 31 August 2107 to 6 September 2017.
He is scheduled to arrive at Zurich international airport, Switzerland on 31 August 2017 and attend an official meeting with the dignitaries the next day as per the tentative schedule.
On 2 September 2017 (designated as “Tibetan Democracy Day), he will be presiding over the program as the chief guest and address the general Tibetan public as well as engage in question-answer session. He is further scheduled to meet the Swiss parliamentarians and members of Tibet support groups in the following days.
He is expected to return to New Delhi on 6 September 2017.
