
Dharamsala: Speaker Ven. Khenpo Sonam Tenphel of Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile is scheduled to officially visit Washington, DC and other cities in United States (US) from Dec 5 to 17.
He will be leaving today for Delhi from Dharamsala and depart for Los Angeles the next day.
The program commences at Los Angeles on Dec 6 and thereafter, Speaker will leave for New York city the next day. From Dec 8 to 10, program in the city is scheduled.
On Dec 10, he will be addressing the large-scale congregation of Tibetans in solidarity with the cause of Tibet and is scheduled to arrive at Washington, DC the next day. From Dec 12 to 14, he will meeting some of the eminent State’s congressmen and carry on with his scheduled program.
He will leave for San Francisco the next day and commence with his program till Dec 16. On Dec 17, Speaker will visit Salt Lake city, Utah.
He is scheduled to set out for Delhi on Dec 18 and leave for Tibetan settlements in Bylakuppee, Karnataka on Dec 20. From Dec 21 to 22, he will continue with his program and then leave for Delhi on Dec 23.
He is expected to return to Dharamsala on Dec 24.
