Speaker Pema Jungney congratulates Prime Minister Narendra Modi

Speaker of Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile, Pema Jungney

Dharamsala: Speaker of Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile, Pema Jungney congratulates Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the landslide victory in the 17th Lok Sabha general elections.

In the congratulatory letter, Speaker wrote “Your victory indicates faith of the people of India under your leadership. We believe you will continue your good work for the welfare of all the people in India.”

Speaker further wrote “we are eternally grateful to the people and government of India for its pivotal support to the Tibetans in Exile and for the cause of Tibet for more than 6 decades.”

And “we look forward to your continued support to resolve the issue of Tibet through the Middle Way Approach and by urging the Chinese government to resume the dialogue with the envoy of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. “

Speaker finally wished Modi and his party success in their future endeavors.
