Dharamsala : A joint celebration to thank both the people and the government of Karnataka by its five Tibetan settlements will be held at Bangalore on August 10.

The celebratory occasion will be graced by the presence of His Holiness the Dalai Lama.

Thereby, as per the invitation proffered, Speaker of 16th Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile Ven. Khenpo Sonam Tenphel will also be attending the program as its ‘Special Guest’. He is scheduled to leave for Delhi from Dharamsala in the evening of August 7 and set out for Bangalore from Delhi the next day. From Aug 9 to 11, he would be engaging in the preset programme and on Aug 12, he will leave from Bangalore to Dharamsala via Delhi.
