Delhi : In continuation with the ongoing Tibet advocacy campaign in Delhi led by Deputy Speaker of 16th Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile Ven. Acharya Yeshi Phuntsok, Parliamentarians Ven. Geshe Monlam Tharchin and Mr. Karma Gelek, the delegation had met over 20 members of Indian Parliament from July 25 to 29.

Veerendra Kumar, Kerala (RS / JDU); 6. Sh. Jagat Prakash Nadda, HP, Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare, (RS / BJP); 7. Sh. Suresh Chanabasappa Angadi, Karnatak (LS / BJP); 8. Sh. Laxmi Narayan Yadav, MP (LS / BJP); 9. Sh. T.K.S. Elangovan, TN (RS / TMK); 10. Sh. Ram Tahal Choudhary, Jharkhand (LS / BJP); 11. Dr. K.V.P. Ramachandra Rao, Telangana (RS / INC); 12. Sh. On July 26, Tibetan Parliamentary delegation participated in the ongoing Rajya Sabha session as observers. Upon meeting the Indian lawmakers thereafter, some of them assured to table discussion over Tibet in the house while some assured the same within their political parties as the Tibetan Parliamentary delegation solicited them of their continuous support, with the senior Tibet-issues-acquainted law-makers of India offering counsel and direction while introducing and intimating Tibet-issues to the non-acquainted parliamentarians.
