DHARAMSHALA: The Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile today wrote to Shri Kumar Prashant, Chairperson of Gandhi Peace Foundation, expressing its deepest condolences at the demise of Mr Anupam Mishra, a renowned Gandhian, environmentalist, journalist and author.

“Apart from being a great thinker and a follower of Gandhian philosophy, Mr Mishra was a long-standing friend of Tibet and we are grateful for his support for the Tibetan cause. It is a great loss for the world particularly for Gandhi Peace Foundation,” the Tibetan parliament said.

“We share your grief at this time of irreparable loss and pray for the departed soul,” it concluded.
