Dharamshala: Parliamentarians Ngodup Dorjee and Kunchok Rinchen, who are currently conducting an official visit to the Doeguling Tibetan Settlement in Mundgod, South India, scheduled from August 3 to 11, 2026, paid their heartfelt condolences and sympathies to all his remaining disciples and followers upon hearing the deeply saddening news of the passing of former Abbot of Drepung Monastery, Drepung Khentri Surpa Jetsun Kunchok Paksam Pal Sangpo.

The Drepung Khentri Surpa passed away last night at 7:44 PM at the age of 98.

The Tibetan lawmakers offered their heartfelt prayers that all the profound aspirations of the late revered Master be fully realized.
