Dharamsala : A delegation from Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile comprising its Deputy Speaker Ven. Acharya Yeshi Phunstok and members of Standing Committee Mr. Lobsang Yeshi and Ven. Lopon Thupten Gyaltsen will be leaving for Delhi to appeal and approach the members of Indian Parliament regarding Tibet’s issue from Dec 18 to 22, in concurrence with the winter session of Indian Parliament.
As per the minute of All Party Indian Parliamentarian Forum for Tibet (APIPFT), on Dec 21, a meeting with the co-convener and core-committee members of the (APIPFT) will be held.
Parliamentarians Mr. Lobsang Yeshi and Ven. Lopon Thupten Gyaltsen will be leaving for Delhi on Dec 17.
However, Deputy Speaker will be leave for Delhi today as he will be attending the Sardar Patel Memorial Lecture on 6 pm at Constitution Club, VP House, New Delhi, organised by Sardar Patel Trust. The memorial lecture will be delivered by Padamshri (Shri) Rambhadur Roy, the senior journalist and Chairman of IGNAC and also a member of Tibet support group. He will join the other two member of the Tibetan Parliamentary delegation thereafter.
The delegation will return to Dharamsala on Dec 23.
