Deputy Speaker and Parliamentarian of Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile to officially visit South India

Dharamsala: Deputy Speaker Acharya Yeshi Phunstok and Parliamentarian Khenpo Sonam Tenphel will be leaving for Mundgod to conduct a four-days workshop on ‘Strengthening of Democracy at the Grass-root level to the members of the Local Tibetan Assembly’ from June 14 -18, 2019 to the members of Local Tibetan Assembly and Settlement officer of Mundgod and Deputy Speaker will attend the Tulku’s enthronement ceremony of Sermey Thoesamling on 21 June.

From June 24 to 28, they will be conducting a four-days workshop on ‘Strengthening of Democracy at the Grass-root level to the members of the Local Tibetan Assembly’ to the members of Local Tibetan Assembly and Settlement Officers of Lungsam Settement, Dekyi larso Settlement, Hunsur Rabgayling Settlement and Kollegal Tibetan Settlement at Kollegal Tibetan Settlement.

They are scheduled to leave from Dharamsala on 9 June 2019.
