The Dy. Speaker in her keynote address chose to share her experience in life as a mother and a teacher in nurturing a child with love and care in a family which is base of all happy society. Citing a reading from the book of a renowned social reformer Acharya Vinoba Bhave, she said that sin and disease if concealed would multiply and spread within you, in the same way, Sexual and Gender-based violence is both sin and disease of the society if concealed could spread within society and therefore to eradicate this social evil from our society to talk about such happening is important to build awareness.

She also stressed that the mental peace of the child is more important than the outer facilities to pursue the child’s learning and to maintain his self-esteem within his peer group.
