Deputy Speaker Acharya Yeshi Phuntsok attended the 14th General Body Meeting of the Central Executive Committee of U-Tsang Cholka at U-Tsang Community Hall at Mcleod Ganj on 28th March, 2017 as the Chief Guest. The meeting started with Deputy Speaker lighting up the butter lamp and offering a traditional scraf to His Holiness the Dalai Lama.

The Chief Guest Deputy Speaker, on behalf of the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile welcomes Parliamentarians, Chairman and the Executive Members of U-Tsang Cholka and all the other participants. He appreciates the Chairman of U-Tsang in delivering the report of the Committee. He further reminded about the struggle and the efforts of His Holiness the Dalai Lama and our older generation towards our cause. After the completion of this meeting, each one of the participants should update their respective people about the meeting’s resolutions.

He concluded his speech by stating that we Tibetans should follow the guidelines of His Holiness the Dalai Lama and stay united to resolve our just cause.
