Russian Guests Visit Tibetan Parliamentary Secretariat

DHARAMSHALA: A group of over 30 Russian guests visited Tibetan Parliamentary Secretariat today. The group is in Dharamshala as part of a cultural exchange program.
The Deputy Speaker Acharya Yeshi Phuntsok received the group at the Tibetan Parliamentary secretariat and gave them a guided tour of the parliament, explaining the issue of Tibet and the evolution of Tibetan democracy in exile to the visiting guests. He also apprised the students on China’s repressive rule over Tibet, which was followed by a brief Q&A session.
He further recommended the visitors to contact the Office of Tibet based in Moscow to render support toward the Tibet cause.
