Dharamsala: As per the invitation proffered by the National Media Foundation and Parliament Press Club of South Asia, Deputy Speaker Ven. Acharya Yeshi Phunstok will be attending its conference on  ‘International Tourism in India and Role of Media’ at Shimla on September 2 as its ‘Chief Guest’.

The conference will also be graced by the presence of eminent guests such as Sh. Jai Ram Thakur, Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Rashtriya Sant Sh. Balyogi Umesh Nath from Ujjain(MP) and other VIP dignitaries along with over 300 journalists from all over India.

The organization aims to preserve, promote and support democratic values of media in South-Asian countries.

Deputy Speaker will be leaving for Shimla from Dharamsala on Sept 1 and is scheduled to return by Sept 4.
