Kenya Tibet Support Group member Mr. Hasmuke Devani and other members were received by the honorable speaker and deputy speaker of the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile on 6th April at TPIE.
There had half an hour interactive session where the speaker introduced the current situations of Tibet and thanked them for their continuous support for the cause of Tibet. The Deputy speaker explained about the systems of Tibetans in exile and also about inside Tibet situation. He also highlighted the importance of Tibet support groups (TSGs) for the cause of Tibet and urged further expansion of TSGs in African continent. Then Mr Hasmuke Devani said they had invited the former kalon Tripa Professor Samdong Rinpoche to Kenya where he addressed the international way of non-violence and satyagraha which enlighten many local people. He also said they had invited Tibetan doctors to there and conducted seven medical camps where hundreds of Kenyan people were benefited. Further he advised not to lose hope and work harder to achieve our aspiration.
