Portland: North America Tibetan Parliamentarian Tenzing Jigme visited Portland and delivered a public talk to the community on August 11, 2024.

During his visit to the Portland Tibetan community, Parliamentarian Jigme delivered a speech focused on the ongoing struggle for Tibet. He urged the audience to remain united and take collective responsibility in strengthening the Tibetan movement.

Parliamentarian Jigme also outlined the structure of the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile and discussed its evolution over the years. Despite the challenges faced, he emphasized that unity and resilience will enable Tibetans to overcome obstacles and advance the cause.
