Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile hosts Farewell Tea Party to outgoing Staff
Dharamsala: Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile hosted a modest farewell tea party to Section Officer Ms. Sonam Yangzom, Office Superintendent Ms. Kelsang Youdon, and Office Assistant Mr. Tenzin Yeshi on their resignation from Tibetan Parliamentary Secretariat on 22 October 2019.
General Secretary Lhakhang Tsering Topgyal, in the presence of Deputy Speaker Acharya Yeshi Phuntsok, members of the Standing Committee, and staff of the Tibetan Parliamentary Secretariat, briefed on responsibilities taken by the outgoing civil servants.
He lauded the dedication and hard work of the outgoing staff, especially for their work during the 3rd Special General Meeting. He further advised them to set a good example of Tibetans to the world and never to forget the common cause of Tibet.
He advised them to follow His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s advice and work for the benefit society.
Deputy Speaker Acharya Yeshi Phuntsok advised them to utilize all the experiences they have gained during their time in Central Tibetan Administration for a better future.
Deputy Speaker also appreciated the outgoing staff for their services in Tibetan Parliamentary Secretariat with full dedication, cooperation, and for working beyond their assigned duties.
He also presented them with ceremonial scarves and small mementos.
Ms. Sonam Yangzom joined the Central Tibetan Administration in 2007 as an Office Assistant and got promoted to Office Superintendent in 2010. In 2018, she again got promoted to Section Officer. She has contributed to the Central Tibetan Administration for more than 12 years.
Ms. Kelsang Youdon joined Tibetan Parliamentary Secretariat on 19 August 2013 as an Office Superintendent. She has served at the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile for more than 6 years.
Mr. Tenzin Yeshi joined the Central Tibetan Administration in 2013 as a Senior Clerk and got promoted to Office Assistant in 2019. He has served in the Central Tibetan Administration for more than 6 years.
